  16. This memo defines a MIB for use with identifying the users associated
  17. with TCP connections.  It provides functionality approximately
  18. equivalent to that provided by the protocol defined in RFC 1413.  This
  19. document is a product of the TCP Client Identity Protocol Working
  20. Group of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).
  21.  
  22. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.
  23.  
  24. This RFC specifies an IAB standards track protocol for the Internet
  25. community, and requests discussion and suggestions for improvements.
  26. Please refer to the current edition of the "IAB Official Protocol
  27. Standards" for the standardization state and status of this protocol.
  28. Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
